Caer Llan is a large country house which is all ours for the weekend! We have exclusive use of Caer Llan from 4pm Friday to midday Sunday. For those arriving on Friday evening, we will have an informal get-together at Caer Llan and will put on a ploughman's buffet so that there is something to eat after your journey. Just let us know whether you'll be coming so we can order enough food for you. Don't worry if you're not sure what time you'll be arriving - we can save some for you!
The ceremony will be held at 12 noon on Saturday at Caer Llan, and will be followed by an afternoon reception and evening party, also at Caer Llan. It will be an informal day and there are several rooms to relax in, as well as lovely grounds to explore, giant chess and other games, and even an outdoor swimming pool if you're feeling brave! There is a "home cinema" room with a Wii, and you are welcome to bring your own DVDs if you think the kids will need more entertainment! There is a summary of the facilities on the Caer Llan website.
The house is ours for the weekend, so do take advantage of the facilities, whether you're staying at Caer Llan or elsewhere. Note that there is no access to the kitchen, though - all meals will be catered, tea and coffee will be available all day, and there is a bar which sells drinks and snacks.
